I created Rubick's Cube type puzzles for the indie game company, Barking Mouse Studios. I had the opportunity to work on the title Lost Toys. I was able to create efficient and attractive models to be distorted into a variety of shapes. I was in charge of making various difficulties of puzzles for a meditative mobile experience.
I utilized Autodesk Maya and Adobe Photoshop to create the models for Lost Toys. The levels I created include the Alligator, Bird Whistle, Elephant, Giraffe, Jet, Lion, Mars Rover, Pteradactyl, Rabbit, Ray Gun, Rhino, Robot, Rocket, Satellite, Soldier, Stegosaurus, Tank, Turtle and Whale.
Some of the most challengeing aspects of this project were creating models that retained recognizable shape/silhouette while also providing necessary bevels for defintion where the toy can be twisted. This was particularly fun because of poly limits and time constraints.
